Mr. Curt Stewart, Producer/Director, has 52 years of professional experience in the various disciplines of theater. Having found and administrated his theater for twenty-six years--producing some of the nation’s most accomplished artists, has prepared Stewart to lead Calliope in its endeavor to train another generation of young aspiring artists in the theater, television, and film industries of the nation. Mr.Stewart has a master's degree in writing and Advanced Studies in Philosophy
Ms. Tamaylia Samms, Director of Operations and Programs, has twenty-five years of experience in running youth service programs in NYC. She is an educator, non-profit administrator, and a professional counselor, with an undying love of the arts. Ms. Samms is a graduate of Columbia University.
Ms. Leah Harper, Administrative Assistant, started out with Calliope in the year of 2015 as an aspiring playwright, in workshops conducted at the Frederick Douglas High School. After graduating high school, she went on to complete her undergraduate and graduate studies. Then resumed her invaluable work with Calliope. One of her special talents is writing.
Mr. Glonnie Lesesne, Fiscal Comptroller and theater stage designer and has worked extensively in Real Estate management.

Barry Kornblum, Board Treasurer. Mr. Kornblum is a CPA, and has served on the board since Calliope’s inception (2001).
Ernest Clayton, a retired educator, served as Coordinator of Parent-Student Affairs in district 5 of the New York City
School System, for 20+ years. Mr. Clayton currently serves as a member of Fathers Forward Inc., a mentoring group for young black males of Manhattan. He is also involved in the Harlem International Museum of Black History & Culture.
Keisha Ballentine, an accomplished Family Nurse Practitioner, uses her professional experience and skills to address some of the most pressing health issues facing challenging neighborhoods in New York City.
